Responsibilities:
- Debug platform failures while working with the business on incident response;
- Participating in maintenance events and on-call rotation;
- Help drive the organization towards continuous delivery;
- Build tools to increase the velocity of our engineering teams;
- Assist in configuration of integrated tools and user management;
- Augment our stack for deploying our cloud based infrastructure;
- Keeping systems patched and up to date;
- Help ensure that in the event of catastrophic failure we can recover;
- Additional duties as assigned;
- Work with engineering teams to increase the operational stability of the platform.
Requirement and Skills
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Experience using change management tools to manage a fleet of servers like Terraform, Chef, Ansible;containerization (Docker and Open Shift);continuous integration servers (TeamCity, Jenkins);
- Automation Skills :Experience monitoring application deployments and deployment automation, source automation using Jenkins;
- Development & Configuration: Configuring and working with various deployment methodologies, including VM and Cloud (e.g AWS);
- Administrative Skills :Skills on WebLogic Server for multiple applications in a clustered environment;
- Technical Knowledge: Ability to support a variety of technologies and frameworks, including but not limited to AWS;
- Scripting & Visualisation: Write scripts and automation using Perl/Python/Groovy/Java/Bash; Develop scripts to automate visualization;
- Communication & Collaboration: Strong communication and collaboration skills.Implement integrations requested by customers
