Job Summary:
As a ReactJS Web Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing user-facing web applications using React.js. You’ll collaborate with design and backend teams to translate UI/UX designs into high-quality, responsive code, and contribute to the architecture and performance of the front-end. This role requires strong proficiency in JavaScript, a deep understanding of React.js, and a passion for creating seamless user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Feature Development: Developing new user-facing features using React.js.
- Reusable Components: Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
- Code Translation: Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
- Performance Optimization: Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.
- User Experience Collaboration: Collaborating with the design team to improve user experience.
- Responsive Design Implementation: Implementing modern and responsive user interfaces.
- API Integration: Developing front-end applications that interface with backend APIs.
- Component Design: Designing stateful and stateless components in React.
- State Management: Utilizing Redux for state management within the applications.
- UI/UX Feasibility: Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Architecture Contribution: Contributing to the overall architecture of the front-end applications.
- Code Review: Conducting code reviews and providing improvements.
- Software Development Lifecycle: Participating in the full software development lifecycle.
- Issue Resolution: Identifying and resolving performance and maintenance issues.
- Technology Awareness: Staying updated on emerging technologies and best practices in the industry.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven work experience as a ReactJS Developer or in a similar role.
- JavaScript Proficiency: Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
- React.js Expertise: Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles.
- Workflow Experience: Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux).
- API Familiarity: Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
- Responsive Design: Experience in responsive design and building mobile-first applications.
- Version Control: Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Authorization Mechanisms: Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.
- Development Tools: Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
- HTML/CSS Knowledge: Solid understanding of HTML/CSS, and CSS pre-processing platforms such as SASS or LESS.
- Agile Environment: Ability to work in an Agile development environment.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Communication & Collaboration: Good communication and collaboration abilities.
- Design Patterns: Strong understanding of software design patterns and best practices.
